A shoot inside the resort grounds gives you convenience; an afternoon out in the city gives you proof that this wedding happened in Danang and not on any beach at all. The four most chosen locations: the Dragon Bridge on the Han River — the city's emblem, at its best in the blue hour and on weekend nights when it breathes fire; the Son Tra peninsula, with a winding coastal mountain road above the bay, suited to wide frames and cool blue tones; the Marble Mountains, limestone outcrops and caves for a darker register and the closest option to the beachfront resorts; and Ba Na Hills with the Golden Bridge and its European-style village, cool all year round.
The price of each choice is time, not scenery. The Marble Mountains sit right on the coastal road and can share an afternoon with the beach. The Dragon Bridge and the Han River are downtown, better as a separate evening scene. Son Tra needs a mountain pass and is best in the early morning when the air is clear. Ba Na demands a whole day once you account for the cable car, mountain weather and changing outfits — do not try to squeeze it in alongside another location.
A few practical notes before you fix the route: ask in advance about the rules and commercial shooting fees at each site (tourist areas charge fees and restrict equipment), allow for rush-hour traffic if you are driving from the coast into the centre, and arrange a changing room or a vehicle large enough — each outfit change on location eats about half an hour of good light.
