Neither Mai Chi nor Quang Minh liked the idea of a big stage. The 516 m² inner garden of the International Convention Palace gave them exactly what they wanted: a courtyard framed by tiled roofs and tropical planting, sized for 80 close guests.
The ceremony began at 16:00 under a terracotta floral arch; the reception was long tables pushed together, with food served family style rather than plated.
A wet-weather alternative in the neighbouring Gallery room was prepared but never needed — March kept the promise of Danang's dry season.
